I’d spent a lot of time looking for great product, and this wasn’t it.
The smell from the soap just reminds me of a cheap cleaning product.
The brush is too small, which I realised as soon as it arrived, but I’d spent so long looking for something nice I decided to keep it. It’s not comfortable to hold and this only becomes apparent when using.
The wood is nice though but when you take the price into account for the review it really only deserves 1 star. Such a shame I wanted to love it.
Highly recommended this has transformed my shaving routine/experience, the lather is perfect, and the bowl and brush are works of art. Don’t hesitate to buy.
I would like to say how delighted I am with my recent order which arrived last week. The brush is without doubt the sturdiest, beautifully produced, individual synthetic brush I have ever owned. Likewise the shaving bowl compliments it and is turned so that it is easy to handle. Your packaging is understated and eco friendly and presents the whole product impeccably!
Five stars for service, packaging and quality feel of the products (that's both using them and just admiring them!) I'm still trying to find the best way to produce a good lather but I'm sure I'll get there. I love natural wood, and the craftsmanship of this kit enhances that appeal enormously. Mornings are now not so hurried (and not just because of Coronavirus!) In a nod to mindfulness, I take time and think about the daily shave. I enjoy the feel and contact with the natural wood and the (attempted) lathering of natural shaving soap. And in a double-whammy I get a real kick out of reducing my use of plastics and aerosols. Now I'm just saving up for the Anniversary Oak - Razor and Brush Stand to complete the set...
This has transformed my morning shave routine from a chore to a highly enjoyable experience that I now look forward to. A great addition to my shaving kit….highly recommended.
