Mountain, the new handmade fragrance collaboration between Thomas Clipper and London design icon Supermundane, has been chosen by British GQ as number 7 in this year's Best Men's Aftershaves And Fragrances 2019.
The fragrances joins the award winning Unite range, and like the three other scents - City, Coast and Country - it's developed in Grasse, made in Britain without animal testing, and uses 100% organic alcohol.
In the words of British GQ:
"This limited-edition fragrance, from entrepreneurial British grooming brand Thomas Clipper, is its first ever collaboration. Working with British street artist Supermundane, it joins the Unite series of fragrances – Coast, Country, City – formulated to be combined or layered together to promote individuality."
Excitingly it's also designed to be blended on the skin with the existing range of fragrances: one spray of Country, one of Mountain. One of Coast, one of City, one of Mountain... The options are endless.
"We created Mountain to be a fantastic fragrance in its own right. But it's also carefully formulated to blend on the skin with the existing Unite range of men's colognes. It's a nod to the fact that at Thomas Clipper we believe discovery is the key to a life well-lived."

Currently a limited edition Discovery Set is available. With this set, men can explore creating their own signature fragrance every morning.
The GQ list (read it here) features nearly 100 of the world's best men's colognes, and we're honoured to be featured in the top ten.
British GQ have a go at describing the fragrance too, writing that "Mountain is a wintery mix of smoky cabin-fire wood and alpine adventure... Vetiver, guaiac and cedarwood deliver a complex, masculine and smoky base while bergamot and aromatic spices offer freshness and balance. Pepper, cardamom, geranium, cabin-fire notes, sandalwood, Indonesian patchouli and a leather accord can also be found in its composition."
