2. Are Thomas Clipper fragrances vegan and free from harmful chemicals?
Yes. Every Thomas Clipper cologne is vegan, paraben-free, and phthalate-free.

4. What is Thomas Clipper’s stance on “dupe” fragrances?
We discourage buying “dupes.” They often use production shortcuts, lack transparency, and undercut the artistry of original perfumery.
Thomas Clipper fragrances are created with integrity—honest sourcing, ethical production and high-quality materials.
5. Is Thomas Clipper eco-conscious?
Yes. We use FSC-certified wood, recyclable glass bottles, organic alcohol, and carbon-neutral delivery via verified removal projects. We're always working to reduce packaging waste. We reduced the packaging material in our discovery set by 50% last year and our fragrance bottles use less than 1% plastic by weight (just where it's currently impossible to replace, eg in the straw that draws the fragrance up to the pump).
Sustainability is central to Thomas Clipper design and production. We're not perfect but we're always trying to be better.
6. How can I discover which Thomas Clipper fragrance is right for me?
Our Thomas Clipper Discovery Set includes all seven fragrances in 14 ml bottles. You can try each scent individually or blend them to find your signature combination.
7. I’m new to fragrance—how do I wear it properly?
Spray once or twice on pulse points—wrists, neck or chest. Avoid rubbing your wrists together, as it can break down the top notes. Think “a hint of fragrance,” not “a room-filler.”
Note: test a fragrance as you'd wear it, not on paper tester strips if possible but instead on your skin.
8. It seems like my scent isn't as strong as it was - how can I make Thomas Clipper cologne last longer?
Fragrance naturally fades as your nose adjusts, even when others can still smell it.
Try reapplying lightly more regularly, or layering different Thomas Clipper scents through the day. For example, start with Coast in the morning, add Country mid-afternoon, then finish with City in the evening.
Bear in mind that whilst your favourite scent might not seem as strong to you anymore, it might well be just as strong to those less used to it around you - tread carefully!
9. Are Thomas Clipper fragrances designed to be blended?
Yes. Every Thomas Clipper cologne can be worn alone or combined. Customers love pairing Atlantic with Polaris for freshness, or Mountain with Terra Firma for depth. The possibilities for layering are endless, enjoy yourself!
10. Which Thomas Clipper fragrances are most popular?
The Discovery Set is the most popular choice amongst our customers as it lets you try the full range before committing to a single scent, or pair of scents for blending.
Outside of that, our best selling full size scent last year was City, but this changes from year to hear and (luckily for us!) we don't have a particular scent that outperforms the others by a significant margin - all sell roughly equally well.
11. Do you offer gift sets or gift cards?
Yes. We offer the Thomas Clipper Discovery Set and digital gift cards for flexible gifting. All gift card orders can include a personalised gift note at checkout.
12. Can Thomas Clipper help me pick a fragrance if I describe what I like?

13. How quickly does Thomas Clipper ship orders?
Orders placed before midday (UK time) ship the same business day; others ship the next business day. UK and USA orders typically arrive within 2–3 days, and we offer free delivery in both regions.
14. What's your returns policy for gifts?
If you buy directly from the Thomas Clipper website we offer 90 day no-fault returns, assuming the product is in resalable condition (ie unopened). For that reason, if you're not sure what they want we always recommend gifting the Discovery Set before selecting the perfect full size fragrance.
