Scent Pairing - Your Winners Revealed

Call it layering. Call it blending. Call it whatever you like (or read more here to find out more) but over the past months we've asked our customers to reveal their favourite combinations of Thomas Clipper scents.

We then put those pairings to a vote amongst thousands of loyal Thomas Clipper customers. Today, we're proud to reveal the winners: drum roll please...

3rd Place - Sartoria

The fantastic Sartoria, created by Jean-Pierre, garnered a respectable 12% of the votes.

A mix of one spray Terra Firma and one spray Country, "it evokes a trip to a bespoke tailor for an indulgent sartorial experience."

2nd Place - Sea and Sky

With nearly 17% of the vote, this blend of 2 sprays of Atlantic and 1 spray of Mountain nearly took the top spot. Sam, its creator, described it beautifully:

"The mind conjures the image of shedding the suit for adventure in the rockies or jetting to another continent knowing that whatever happens this scent will carry the wearer through…. sea and sky…."

But despite a fantastic field, there can only be one first place prize here and that goes to...

1st Place - Winter Solstice

Not the choice we expected given the time of year! But our customers know what they love and nearly one in five selected this as their favourite blend - 1 spray of Mountain, 1 spray of Polaris.

The creator of this simple but winning blend is Ian, who took the unusual and frankly brilliant step of describing it in Haiku form.

"Dark trees, fire's gleam,
Spice and amber scent entwines,
Winter night's warm hold."

Crikey. I'm sure how to follow that except to say thank you so much to everyone who entered and helped us judge.

I'll be sending Ian both of his chosen scents free of charge as his prize. Everyone who voted and entered will get a points for their next purchase (email incoming...) with something a little more special for second and third place entries.
